My trip to Budapest

Yes, I grabbed the opportunity to visit Budapest, since my sister's godchild works there. And I had the crazy idea to do this trip in July.

Well, my friends, just so you know, Budapest during summer... not a good idea. I am used to perfect Sweden, so I compare everything with it. People were not that beautiful. The city is not that beautiful as well. There are not enough parks, it is extremely hot and humid due to the river, the city has got only an "old" perspective, nothing modern or extreme that I adore.

The clever clue it that they light their city and the buildings so perfectly that even an ugly building looks perfect during the night. A lot of bridges, a lot of different means of transport, kind of old and dirty if you ask me. The life is generally cheap in comparison to Greece and Sweden. We ate a lot of junk food. And we felt pretty!

Here are some of my photos from this trip. I surely recommend the city, I know I sound like I did not like it, but I have to explain that the weather was not helping at all. It is a winter city if you ask me. P.S. I loved the parliament building. It is at least breathtaking.
