"A quiet place"

It is high time I wrote about the movie I watched this Sunday at the cinema.
It is called "A quiet place" and it was really good. Really different. I do not know if I spoil the movie, but I always try not to.

Emily Blunt is starring and I love her. That was just a comment. So, the movie.
A family is forced to live in the forest and they must not make any sounds, due to some "monsters" that have taken over the city or the earth. We do not really know, because we do not see or hear much about this. This is also a point that I liked about the movie. The focus on the family and their lives and the way they struggle to survive.

As you understand there are not many dialogues in the movie, they mostly use sign language.
They mostly use sign language and I watched it at the cinema.
I watched it at the cinema in Sweden.
In Sweden, the subtitles are in Swedish.

I considered the positive side and thought it was a good practice for my Swedish language learning. But I cannot say I enjoyed the fact that this was the secoSwedish swedish subtitles kick my butt without warning with no english sound to back it up...

The movie shows the struggle of the parents to protect their kids because they seem to feel that their roles as parents are defined by protecting their children.
A funny fact in all the silence, their elder daughter is deaf. Amazing scenes with her and the monsters.

I recommend the movie. I liked it. The acting was really good. The plot was simple and nicely presented. The movie did not say much about the origin of the monsters and we did not see the end of the monsters either. The focus is on the family. :D

Lovely. Here is the trailer:
