Saying what you think is right
I am thinking ... Do people tell us what we want to hear or do we interpret what we hear to what we want?
Because I can say that this has happened to me pretty frequently the last few weeks. So, either I block listening to people and bear my own assumptions, or people have understood what I want to hear and they say that!
But, in the second scenario, I wonder, how do they know what the other person wants to hear? There must be some signs. There must be a kind of radiation that puts the other person into the mood and makes them find quicker and more efficient ways to break your f.a.r. Hmmm, I need to sleep on that and reflect. A question is raised, what people think when they meet me? And after that question, another one comes. Why do I care?
Rumour has it that I am aggressive and I scare people when I meet them, I am not diplomatic and I have not learnt how to use my arguments and not show it when I think that people are stupid. :)
Well, if that is the case, then what makes me alter that when I want to get my defences down and be approachable? Do people smell that? Do they consider it as a weakness or a strength? What if lying around and saying what you think other people say is the trend of our era? What if people have stopped being sincere and themselves and have been adaptable until they get their work done? Is that diplomacy? Should I quote Den Mar now? (only greeks will get that)
