"The perfect catch"
There are some movies that exist just in order for me to eat popcorns while watching them. Of course I did not expect something more by this movie. At least when it comes to movies, I know what to expect. (oops hint)
So, yes. A very light romedy (my term, get used to it already). They so easily fall in love because he is a famous baseball player returning to his hometown and she is a single mother with a son that wants to be better at playing baseball. What a big surprise! The plus one clue is that they used to date in high school so it is so cute and nice that they end up together. Personally, I would rather kill myself that get back together with my high school boyfriend, for two reasons. First of all, he was a cheater and secondly, he is not a famous baseball player, so what is the purpose at the end of the day? :P
But anyway, back to the movie. He helps her by supporting her with her son and of course psychologically, to revive the old diner that belonged to her grandfather, while her boyfriend did not support or believe in her. Tell us something we did not expect. Boooo! The son got closed together with the baseball player, he became a coach and a role model for him. He got an offer for a job somewhere else and disappointed them (mother and son) but after making a list with pros and cons, he decided that he is utterly in love with her so he had to stay. Boooo!!!
That is all. A romedy for popcorns.
