"No country for old men"
Yes of course. Many Oscars, many awards, many good comments.
It was on my watchlist for quite some time.
I cannot say I understood it or I liked it. Maybe it happened because I was not in the mood for a two-hour movie. But in any case, I can say that Bardem is a great actor, as many of the others in the movie. However, his lack of emotions and expressions reminded me of a day in Sweden so I would not give an Oscar to that.
What was his problem?
Why did he kill everyone? How many did he kill during the two hours of the movie?
I don't know. There was a killer, and then he was chasing others and killing them. No further point if you ask me. His head and haircut were like a Playmobil and that is all I have to say about the movie. I gave it a 5, just for the awards' sake. I could flirt with a four even.
