"Still Alice"

I will not say the best about this movie. It is not that I did not find it interesting. And the acting was great. And the idea was good. But. There is a big but. I did not like the quote "I would prefer to have cancer". You cannot choose from two different, equally evil diseases which one you would prefer. It is unfair.

Ooops. I lack introduction. Well yes. Sorry readers. A 50-year-old linguistic professor is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Very unfortunate. And this specific type runs in the family. So, her daughter has the gene as well. The movie shows their life and how this family bonds in front of that unique challenge.

I have no history of Alzheimer's disease in my family, as far as I know. I feel it is hard to have it. Harder for those around you. Not that much for you when you do not remember anything. It is like death, the ones that stay alive are those who actually experience it. Not the dead person.

Happy thoughts! Well, life is life. So, enjoy every moment, even when you have a serious chance of forgetting it some day. What matters is now.

You should see this movie. It is a nice movie. But I would not suggest it in case of bad mood. Your mood will get worse. There is no reason for that.

Enjoy, and as always, I need feedback. Please.
