Sweet, nice and romantic, oscar nominated, my kind of movie...
A girl leaves Ireland to go to Brooklyn, to live a better life, to get educated and perhaps, if she is lucky enough to get married. And she is a bright girl, who left mother and sister and a stupid part time job and goes to Brooklyn. In the beginning, she is homesick. But then she meets a guy. An Italian guy. And he is sweet and he cares about her, and they start dating, he is protective and smiley, and she starts having great time with him. She also gets better at her job and she becomes more American...
But something tragic happens. And she needs to go back home. Just for a month. Her boyfriend convince her to get married to him before leaving, and she does.
Back home things are so different. And she meets her friends, her old life, but with better style and better attitude. And she also meets a guy...
Watch it, I liked the colours and the atmosphere. It is just a nice story, nothing super important, but nice stories are very important nowadays. We lack nice stories....
