"Capote"
Ok, let's see what we have here.
Capote. A biography and crime masterpiece movie. The writer Truman Capote learns about a family murder in Kansas that intrigues him and he wants to investigate further and he wants to write a book about it. By spending time with one of the suspects, he develops a relationship, but the suspect, or even better killer, is on death row.
The way they communicate, the way the writer approaches the story, the interest that he finds, but most importantly, the atmosphere of the movie and the impeccable acting of Philip Seymour Hoffman makes the movie an outstanding art result. I should have watched it earlier. It was in my watchlist for some time but I could not find the perfect timing to enjoy it.
The movie is realistic if you ask me. You cannot investigate and observe a scene or an incident or anything, without changing it. Without affecting it or being affected by it. So for me, the movie can be translated in different ways. And of course it describes a life event of a writer, but it is a good window to grasp the view that life is moments and during these moments, you exchange energy and you meet people. Others make an indelible impression, others just pass by.
Enjoy the movie. And the colours and feelings that sends out.
