"Whiplash" (2014)

I watched this movie with a great company. I always mention that because from my point of view, it plays an important role on how you perceive the movie, and it also affects the mood. So, yes. Great company.

A second point I want to make is that I did not choose the movie, nor I spent one hour discussing what movie I am going to watch. So that also affected my mood when watching the movie. I was not tired. :)

The movie is about a young drum player that wants to be one of the best, and he wants to play jazz music. So he is attending one of the best colleges and he wants to take part in one specific maestro's class. A very strict, punctual and hard to satisfy maestro. Let's call him God. God was perfect. Yes.
And I love the actor as well. Not the young boy though, I don't know, he reminds me of something useless. Oh, I am mean today. Why?

Never mind. So, for me the movie showed how much a talent can be the perfect performer only by practising hard. Just talent does not count. It does not help. It needs hard work. It needs your eyes to hurt, your hands to bleed, your face to sweat, your heart to pump blood quicker. That is the secret to success. That, and a great God to push the right buttons. How hard is acceptable for the God to be? How strict a behaviour is acceptable? Raised questions. I am not sure if I agree with his "teaching" method, however I have no prior experience to that level of professionalism and accuracy... So I cannot judge. :)

But, I have to let you think about it for yourselves. I definitely suggest the movie. I kinda liked it. Watch it. Voila :

P.S. I would have definitely commit suicide with a maestro like that. But maybe that is the reason why I am not that successful in life... :)
