"Crimson Peak"
I watched it after my friend's recommendation. A movie from 2015, drama, fantasy and horror according to IMDb (which I blindly trust when it comes to descriptions).
So I watched it. Yes, the picture was good and the story could be nice. But it was too predictable and too standard. And I can't say I got scared or driven in the mood. Something was missing.
The biggest disappointment came at the end of the movie of course, when I saw the credits and I realised that this is a movie directed, written and produced by Guillermo del Toro, who I consider as extremely talented and creative.
And the casting was really nice with Jessica Chastain being the evil sister of the main male character. And other interesting names as well.
But all in all, I would not say that it was a movie worth suggesting. Of course it was good, but just that, nothing more.
So it is up to you if and when you want to spend some time with a scary movie with good picture, dresses and nice atmosphere but don't expect more.
