"Nocturnal Animals"

And of course, another amazing Amy Adams' movie, not to mention Tom Ford. 

I have to admit that I needed to discuss the movie after watching it, and I think that this is a big success of a movie. Because I am very interested in things that I do not directly understand but I need benchmarking to grasp the meaning or to make sure that I am at the same page. Or generally, to realise how many different ways there are to interpret art. Because, truth should be told, this movie is a piece of art.

I should not forget to give credits to Jake Gyllenhaal as well, one of my favourite actors of his generation. 

So, the movie is about revenge (do you get the hint? do you understand why I love it?). She is wealthy and apparently successful, married to a guy that is making her miserable, living a life that she dreamt but not very carefully, and she gets her ex-husbands novel. She reads and finds herself as the main character of the book and her daughter as a part of it as well. But they are not living their lives. They get killed in a horrible way. And she interprets the novel as a means of revenge from her ex husband, who she abandon for the new one, who is cheating and ignoring her, and he treats her like a furniture from IKEA (no offence but they are relatively cheap). 

It is not the most complicated scenario, although it made me doubt what is the truth and what is the book. It is the picture of the magnificent Tom Ford, and of course the great casting that gives a different air to the picture.
