I am sure you have missed me the short and mean posts that I make out of the blue, so I will give you exactly what you desire. 

It is at least rude and it means that your parents have not done such a good job when it comes to your behaviour if you are the ones that are active on social media and keep screening the messages that you receive. Unfortunately for all the screeners out there, social media indicate the activity of your account and people can see that you ignore them, even when you have not read the message yet.

We have all done it some times but some of us do it permanently. And there comes the difference. If you don't want to talk to someone do not initiate the chat. It is that simple. Try it. It will make you a better person at the end of the day.

Friendly advise to all the screeners: Use apps that cannot be screened! :) Regular SMS for instance. Just give your number and use your message application. No one will know if you received the message or if you are active and ignoring ... :)
