"The Martian"

I finally watched it. After having it repeatedly suggested to me.
I still agree that humanity has spent enough money to bring Matt Damon back home in general, in many movies, but at least this movie was kind of realistic. Real shit. Not sure such cleverness exists by one person only, who manages to survive in Mars until they come and get him, but anyway, let's say that if we are in danger, we try to use our brains more, let's take this hypothesis as true. :)

So yes, there are some people sent to Mars, and then something goes wrong, one gets killed and they need to abandon and start the trip back home. But the one they considered dead is not dead, he is alive and he realised that he needs to survive until he is able to communicate with earth or until the next people are sent back to Mars.

He is a botanist, he manages to grow food, he finds Pathfinder, he communicates, he finds out a way to move with a vehicle to the crater where the next people are expected (in many years) and after all, his crew finds out that he is still alive so they get the information that maybe there is a way to go back and get him. Some agony, some clever points, some funny moments. Not boring at all, not typical space movie. I liked it. I believe it is a good one and I recommend it strongly! :)
