"Batman vs Superman, dawn of justice"
It is more than normal for a person like me to lose the possibility to watch this movie unbiased, after watching the youtube broadcast "Θάψε το σενάριο" (Greek you tubers commenting on movies that are not supposed to be that good, translation of the broadcast's title is Burn the script). And yet, I thought that I should have my own opinion on the matter and let my eyes enjoy the handsome men fighting for some time.
Yes, the movie was unnecessarily complicated. I cannot tell that there was a meaning or a logic behind all this. And of course, as mostly expected, there is no serious fighting between batman and superman because at the end of the day they are both good guys who are trying to do good. In a dark setting, because we are talking about a DC universe. To begin with, I am sick and tired of changing the batman actor. And also I am sick and tired of watching an actor who, successfully or not- it does not matter, has played another superhero role. I cannot take Ben Affleck seriously as a batman because he used to be daredevil. I am angry.
Ok, as for Henry Cavill, the superman, omg, he is so handsome. But too serious. Why is he acting so seriously? He is an alien that has super powers and yet gets a girlfriend from earth, who is a pulitzer prize journalist (hahahahahaha).
The movie does not introduce the characters completely, in a way like they are checking if we have done our homework and study around them on the comics.
I cannot look deeper into it cause it is a superhero movie. It was not that ok. Too complicated, but still, you can watch it. Personally, I first watched the Wonder Woman movie which is awesome, so I was kind to this one and just forgave them for this bad movie, just because they did such a great job with wonder woman. Wonder woman also appears here and of course she is as perfect as always.
Watch the movie if you are a comic movie fan. And let me know what you think about it. It is important to keep in mind that DC is trying really hard. And there is always the wonder woman movie to make you feel better in case you get angry!!
