"Evita"
This year, we had the famous musical in Greece, so I watched a lot of interviews and stories around the famous musical as well as the original play.
Based on that, I thought that I should watch the movie, with Madonna, to get to know the approach of the cinema. Evita Perón.
So, yes. Madonna was good. I liked the songs and the colours and settings. But other than that, I think that the story of Evita itself is much more fascinating than the movie could show and I feel that something was missing. I must admit I got even a bit bored.
It is not a bad movie for its type. I would just say that I would prefer to see the musical live in a theatre than the movie. Or listen to the songs. That is all. I am not sure what else to say.
